Untitled Document IF your interests include the history of Disneyland, Walt Disney's first Magic Kingdom, this is the publication for you! Each issue, a senior Disney artist or Imagineer shares experiences, artwork, and photographs. Facts and photos of the first Imagineer, Walt Disney, are always included. Favorite rides and attractions (some no longer around) are described and illustrated in every issue. Each time, Disney Theme Parks are explored with maps, drawings, often more than 50 rare photographs.
The "E" Ticket Magazine features interviews with the Artists, Imagineers and other creative individuals who helped design and build Disneyland. Also contained in these thrice-yearly issues are rare reviews of Disneyland and researched histories of the construction of favorite Attractions, some of which are now gone.

Issue #27 - The Autopia
Contents:
* The Autopia, Disneyland's "Expressway of the Future"
Our cover story describes the appearance and operation of each of the Autopia attractions as first designed, then changed over the years. Unlike most conveyances within Disneyland attractions, the Autopia cars themselves are a main focus of this ride's entertainment. Our first and best sources for this material is the Autopia car's designer and inventor, Imagineer Bob Gurr. We've been able to include rare photos and information about these little sports cars, from the first Mark I in 1955 to the Mark VII cars still in use at the Fantasyland and Tomorrowland Autopias.
* Interview with Disneyland Vehicle Designer Bob Gurr
In addition of Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, we pay a visit to Main Street U.S.A. In late 1954, while he worked to develop the Autopia Mark I, Walt Disney's Director of Vehicular Design Bob Gurr also designed and produced the motorized Main Street vehicles. Disneyland's Main Street has always been a "land" of carefully themed symbols and nostalgic components. Bob's "antique" trucks, Horseless Carriages and Omnibuses have been an important part of this success.
* The Dapper Dans - Barbershop Disneyland-style
Also calling Main Street home is the Magic Kingdom's most perennial performing Quartet, the Dapper Dans. For most of Disneyland's history, some version of this famous barbershop group has strolled (or bicycled) along Main Street, singing a musical harmony perfectly matched to the surroundings. We share some of the group's photos and memories.
