Disney has released different versions of the monorail playset over the years, and this newest one is sure to be the most popular. This toy is based on the Walt Disney World Monorail, and includes new features and accessories. The boxed set includes five cars with working headlights, recorded Monorail spiel (Walt Disney World® version), and 14' of track - enough to build a 61'' x 49'' oval. (12 curved and 2 straight pieces included) The Monorail works in both forward and reverse gears. Also included in this new version are eight character figurines. The passenger cars have been updated and now include clear windows, working doors, and a lift-top roof. The Monorail playset is the perfect accessory under a Christmas tree, or just to run around the house any time of year. Additional Straight and Curved track is available to expand your set. (Sold separately) If you already own Monorail or spare track from the previous Monorail versions, rest assured that it will work with this new model. You can combine your new and old sets to create the layout of your dreams! Some light assembly required, and you will need a philips-head screwdriver to install the batteries. Requires two AA batteries, which are not included. The Monorail is ideal for children 4 and up. Disneyland ocassionally changes the color of the Monorails available - we will send you the color currently in stock.
